Videos
My first video is a demonstration of building a fire in my woodstove. I used a tripod. I used MovieMaker to edit the movie and used it to trim parts of it out, to join it with a short clip taken 5 minutes later of the fire, and to add a Title. I then setr up a YouTube account and uploaded the movie to it. The YouTube URL is http://youtu.be/FAHvs1e_Wqc. I found both MovieMaker and YouTube easy to use.
This second video is of myself putting a snowmobile sign on the Montpelier Wells River Railbed VAST trail. To capture the vertical orientation of the action and to keep the camera close to capture the audio, I used the camera in a vertical position. I edited the movie(trimmed) and added a title with MovieMaker and then created a YouTube account and uploaded the video to YouTube. The video is at http://youtu.be/H-845pguOww. If I were going to retake this video, I would add my dog as an added point of interest at the start, although that might take several tries to get it right. It was a dark day and I wish I had used MovieMaker to brighten it a bit more - something I thought of after the fact. A key element for me in both of the above videos was the writing out of a script since I am not particularly good at extemporaneous speaking.
Video Sequel
My video sequel is an enhanced version of "Morning Fire", my first video. I added some color, dressed up th transition at the end, and added credits. I also added music to the end portion but I found it difficult to control the music background so it is not loud enough to be easily heard. This video, which i shown below, can be found at http://youtu.be/iXJNRazSpB0
